The existing pool and its exposed aggregate patios needed new life. The pool was remodeled with a new bullnosed pre-cast concrete coping, and the pool shell itself received a new Pebble-Tec textured finish. The patios were enlarged to create more lounge space near the pool and were finished with a cut travertine stone. The always unsightly pool equipment is now housed in a decorative shed that matches the home, which also serves as storage for pool toys and cleaning supplies.
The homes existing cantilevered roof at the rear face gave protection from the elements as you exit the rear slider, but did not provide enough space to sit under. Trim details were added to the existing posts, and attached to them is a new decorative arbor, giving the family a shaded space to escape the sun, as well as room for a dining table. Next to the French doors at the master bedroom is a new matching T-arbor.⟪ Landscape Design Portfolio
