from California Landscaping Magazine June 6, 2009, page 17
As part of efforts to build “brand awareness” for the California Landscape Contractors Association, CLCA sponsors an annual award for one of the display gardens at the prestigious San Francisco Flower and Garden Show. With a target audience of 50,000-plus attendees, the show is a good way for the association to connect with consumers.
This year’s winner, Chateua le Vieille Barrique de Vin, was created by Arborealis Landscape Design, B. Gordon Builders, and Fritz’s Landscape Company.
“This garden is a complete environment and is very inviting,” CLCA Head Judge Jerry Allison explained.
“All aspects of this garden are well executed and show a good continuity of elements as well as a creating blending of different materials.”
