With their existing yard feeling outdated and non-functional, we set out to give the homeowners an inviting and comfortable space for entertaining family and friends. The rear of the house steps up to a broad paver patio. Anchored by the grand fireplace, all their entertaining needs are solved here: a generous dining and lounge space; an outdoor kitchen with ample counter space; and a bar seating area.
The masonry is faced in full-range Connecticut Bluestone and trimmed with real used brick accents and borders. The patio is bordered by a mix of cottage and Mediterranean style plantings, while the herbs and vegetables are just a few steps away in the raised boxes behind the fireplace.
